Corporate Wellness Initiative
As part of our CSA (Community Supported Agriculture), we have recently started a corporate wellness program. This allows local businesses to get involved with the community and get Local Natural Food to their employees. We have 140 shares available with this program to purchase now for delivery starting in February 2012. A share is 7 lbs of chemical free produce once a week which is harvested the same day its delivered.
Through this program, businesses can participate with their employees by helping with the upfront cost and charge it back through payroll deductions or even share some portion of the cost as part of a benefits program. It is great for businesses to support local food, it helps boost employees’ morale and helps keep them healthy, ultimately lowering your businesses health care costs.
We have single and double shares available for 13, 26, and 52 weeks. Online a person can defer and not forfeit a week(s) if they are going to be away that week or for some other reason don’t want to take delivery.
If your business participates, we will give the employees bonus weeks worth of food depending on the level of participation. We will also deliver the food right to the place of business if there are a minimum of 15 shares.
