Using Your Food
Not sure what to do with an eggplant? That’s okay; we want to help you with a healthy lifestyle! One of the best things about being a part of a CSA is it helps people to try new things. Sometimes we get stuck cooking and eating the same things again and again. It is important to incorporate a wide variety of fruits and vegetable in our diet daily. Every fruit and vegetable and their thousands of varieties provide different vitamins, minerals and enzymes essential for a healthy body.
This year, we are starting to provide weekly recipes according to what produce is delivered that week. The recipes are posted on our blog and sent out in our weekly emails. We also have cooking classes at the farm every month. We also give food tips on our Facebook and Twitter feeds.
Below is a list of all of our produce. Please click on the hyperlinks to see pictures of this fruit/vegetable, storage tips, recipes, why it’s so good for you and other useful information. Links will be added as foods become available in the boxes, and new recipes will be added weekly.
